Loading Press Stand

I am looking for a press stand. I am wondering if anyone out there has their press/s mounted on a stand instead of a bench or table. If you do I would like to know where you purchased the stand or if you had one made or made it yourself I would like to see a picture/s if you would like to share.

Mike I've mounted mine to a table saw. But I did see a couple of stands built from 2x4's in the photos of the reloading stations on this site. You made me think if I had an engine stand with a additional piece of round stock I think I could turn it into a nice reloading stand. That would put it on wheels and make the core part easy to come up with, its just a thought. I also thought of getting some of the whirl-pool gladiator lower cabinets and caster kits and wood top and I think I could make a nice rolling station with massive storage that my wife might like.

I have a friend that bolts his to a portable workbench / a workmate ...its a Dillon SDB ....and when he's done reloading / he empties everything ---puts the loader back on the shelf with a pillow case over it. I did the same thing for years when I lived in small houses / or an apt ...with a MEC grabber for 12 and 20ga shotshells too.

It's not exactly what you were asking / but almost any kind of a table with good locking wheels on it / would probably work ( as long as its solid ) when you're loading.

The Workmate works well with a new top of plywood - its footprint is wider and makes it stable

reloading stand

I think this question has been asked before. Midway USA sales a pretty cool stand. I just saw it in one of their flyers. It's 27" tall and has a top plate for mounting a press plus 2 grey bin boxes. Extra top plates can be purchased along with extra bins. Price for the stand P/N 155-024 $64.99.

somebody on here posted a stand they made that sounded cheap and easy.

It had a truck wheel for the base and then he welded I believe a 4" exhaust pipe for however tall you want it. Then for the top he just welded a steel plate on. Mark your holes for your press and drill them. Sounded cheap and easy I thought about doing that for my turret press.

+1 on the Midway stand, mounted an aluminum RCBS press to it years ago for those times when you must reload @ the range...or in the living room. I could do all my reloading on it but then that big burly loading bench would get lonely.
