Well, I'm on my 4th AR, and I love them. I don't believe there is any rifle made today that is more modular than the AR.
With one lower, you can have hundreds of combinations(as long as you have the funds).
The GI iron sights are more than acceptable, and if you buy a flattop, you can pick what ever sight picture you want.
The Sig is nice, but I'll bet it never has the following the AR has, parts aren' cheap, and I personally don't care for the handling.
