I've not shot both, but will say the photos look very similar. It could well be the Nightmare's are repackaged bulk Hornady product. The price is about the same. If you spent the $457.15 they ask for the bulk package of 6000 Hornady cannelure SP's, that would come out to about $38.10/500. MidSouth will get those 6000 packs at a distributor's discount price, so it may pay them to repackage and sell them that way. You could call MidSouth and ask who makes the Nightmares.
