I never thought of that, but I'm sold on it.

I think the natural tendency to use the breath is because it can be "metered" so well and so instantaneously, in order to avoid "blowing away" that precious tinder. But the moisture issue? Just no way I can argue against that if another source of fresh oxygen can be found.
