I typically use 7.5's for doves. I haven't quail hunted in years but used the same then too. I do occasionally take some 6's with me to the dove field in case the birds are flying high that day.

I use 00 buck or slugs for deer.

I use heavy 5's or 6's for turkey

I use 6's for squirrels and rabbit.

That about covers it for me. Don't do the waterfowl thing. I don't hunt mythical creatures.
