Here's a good walkthrough of the e-form 1 process.

You can take your time, fill out the form and make sure everything is right before you submit it. Even if it takes you a few days, you can log out and come back another day. If you have any questions about any of the sections, ask here or on the AR15 NFA section. Folks will help you.

Once you've done one and get past the learning curve, it's not complicated. I've done 6 e-form 1s now (as individual). I take my own picture and even roll my own fingerprints.
