Hello, Gos. I too am a fan of H4227. When I heard they were discontinuing it, I called Hodgdon. They said since they had bought up IMR, they were dropping some powders & 4227 was one. I said I thought their 4227 was a bit better than the IMR version..tech. agreed..in fact he said he would let me in on a secret..even though the new cans say IMR..they are filled with the original H4227. The IMR version was dropped. Now I haven't tried any of the new stuff (stock piled all the H4227 I could while still avail.) so don't know if what he said was true..but sure hope so. Best of luck!
