To me it depends on what you are looking for. A P95 is a great choice for home defense.

If you are looking for pure fun, a used Ruger Single Six is hard to beat. I got a stainless new model this year for $225.00 and it is prob. my favorite gun. Cheap ammo, can shoot better than I can aim, and built to pass on to my son.

.357/9mm Blackhawk
.22lr Single Six
.357 SP101
.22lr MKIII 22/45
.9mm P95

Of these, 3 (P95, Single Six, and 22/45) were $300 or under and the Blackhawk was $325.......hard to beat Ruger in value for $$$$$
