I have not used the Montana Gold, but have used the Precision Delta. Both are usually ordered in 3 or 4K increments.
PD does have 100 round samples of all their bullets for $18, shipped. This lets you try before you buy 3 or 4 K and decide you don't like them.
IIRC, both of their prices for jacketed bullets are cheaper than plated.
