I would have bought a Browning Hi Power before they became a $1000+ gun

. Out of the late great JMB's two greatest handgun designs, you can still get a very nice 1911 (IMO plz no flames) sub $700. No one really makes NEW Hi Power Clones anymore (I think Charles Daly was the last and they are bye bye) and the original Browning one is BIG $$$ (at least I consider it expensive but everything is relative/subjective in terms of the pricing of Classic items). I realize there are K's of used stuff out there but I would like a NIB nice Hi Power for the same price I can get JMB's other masterpiece for.
