Earlier this year I sold off all of my junker AR's (three of them) with the intentions of replacing them with quality rifles. My decision was narrowed to Daniel, Colt, and Noveske. Noveske was just a little more than I wanted to pay, and DD had Colt whipped in all of the hand to hand comparing I did. I ended up building a V3 with a complete upper and a DD LPK in a stripped lower that I had and then I bought a DD M4V7. I don't think there is any doubt as to the quality of DD being top of the line, and I wouldn't trade either of mine for Colt at this point.
