I've let most of my old steel revolvers go, they were good guns, but their value to others far outweighed their value to me.

These days I get by just fine with my 3" Ruger LCRX models, and the .22LR is my number 2, just behind the .38 (I've never found another cartridge so capable of a wide range of chores... from small game hunting to self defense)... although the 9mm comes close in the right pistol.

The 3" has long been my favorite barrel length for a 'walking around' revolver.
