As far as eating them, the taste is largely dependant on where you are located. My place in TX just SE of Waco is covered with them and we kill them with extreme prejudice. I do not like the way they taste at all. There are no ag crops around so they live on what they can find. I also have land in Mississippi and most of the pigs I ahve eaten there have been very good. Plenty of soybeans, corn, and other yummy things for them to live on.
