So the hammer on the '95 gun was behaving unusually; rattling, bouncing when dry fired, and sometimes not resetting so I knew something wasn't right. Detail stripped the frame of that gun and the hammer return spring was broken. I figured since these guns are about 20 years old they could both use all new springs. While I'm at it I think I'd like to upgrade to the newer hammer strut assembly so I can install some factory slim grips. The '95 gun also has dead night sights so I might drop the coin to replace those down the road. The '92 guns has good night sights that are probably 70-80%.
