Kayaking...
On a side note I was on a group run down the Lower Gauley a few years ago. We pulled over for some lunch and I was surprised to see one paddler had a 357 tucked under his deck in a homemade rig.
I now carry a Kahr on my river runs. Sometimes you run across individuals not so enthused about paddling through their back yards.
