I'm looking to buy a second gun for the house and I'd like it to be a revolver. Is there a model that is to revolvers as a trusty Glock is to semi-autos? Priced well ($600ish), reliable, well made? I would prefer a revolver capable of double action firing as well as something that is larger versus something compact.

I know I'm asking a lot but as a new gun owner I know very little about revolvers.

I've found the Taurus 66 and it seems to fit the bill.
