IIRC, it was Neal Boortz that defined "Redneck" as "Yeah, that'll work for now...." when referring to something used for a task it was really not made for, but with enough on the fly ingenuity, could be made to work, at least temporarily ........ some folks take this idea to dizzying heights, just because the can ......
