I looked at both the Ruger sr9c and sr40c, based upon my very favorable experiences with my other Ruger semi autos. But I already have an LCP, and the 9 mm round didn't seem that much better than the 380, and the fact that so many police agencies have chosen the 40S&W round, I went with the sr40c. The round, and the gun, inspire great confidence. My NIB sr40c was $439 just a few months ago.
