I tried the Big Dots on my carry pistol and disliked them. They may be a smidgen "quicker" but are not precision enough for my likes. Also at the distance they may be "faster" I would be "point shooting" anyway. As an aside I have had many types of "Night Sights" and disliked them. However, when I removed the Big Dots I had a set of new Trijicon sights installed. I really really like these (and I suspect I've had 10-20 sets I disliked). These are labeled "H3 09" on the top of the front blade. They seem several hundred percent brighter.Almost "alien" space craft bright, very blue white, they are great day and night.I currently own two other pistols that Have Trijicon's that I dislike. I have no idea when they went to this type - but it's great. If I change out any sights I'd put these on in a minute. The only reason I don't is the expense.
