Sorry, but shooting an AK with improperly adjusted sights offhand @200 yards sounds like a lesson in futility and waste of ammo.
You are funny! 3 kill shots out of five with the target totally blind is not good enough for you eh??? You can't make everybody happy I guess...

When I get the elevation correct at 100 yards, I will do it again at 300 yards and see if that make you happier ... I doubt it though

The AK is a fun platform to shoot ... Period. The ammo is still relatively cheap by comparison ... my .458 lott custom ammo runs $150.00 per 20, and even my 350 Rem. Mag which uses custom loads from Superior Ammo runs $76.00 per 20, so $28.00 per 100 rounds for Tula is GREAT!

"a lesson in futility and a waste of ammo"

Some would say a challenge in thinking, since you have to re-calculate the ballistics and then have the skills to execute your theorem! Sounds like fun to me, and it is never a waste of AMMO to expand your skill levels in REAL WORLD SHOOTING, as most gunfights do not involve sandbags.

One man's waste is another man's homework and a fun day!!!
