The deer was broadside, with the on side foreleg rearwards and the off side ahead. Bullet (100 gr Partition) entered just on the forward edge of the near shoulder blade, and exited through the center of the off side shoulder. This makes it sound like the deer was quartered towards us,but it was not, it was all about the placement of the forelegs and the doe's sholders.

Took out the big heart vessels and the forward portion of the lungs. We lost one shoulder, but no big deal to me for a clean kill.

She never even kicked.
