It is adequate for any game in North America as long as you know its limitations and use it within its capabilities.

No one can tell at what yardage beyond which you can not shoot and kill a specific game type, assuming you hit it in a vital area. The variables are so numerous as to make it a judgement based on the circumstance at the time. Experience makes that possible ... and you aren't going to get that on a gun board.
