Kenneth,

My advice would be to send that pistol to ruger before firing it again. They took care of my fathers pistol, although it took about 6-8 weeks to get it back. I would say that in situations like this it is best to let the manufacturer repair and or replace the pistol. Just my $.02 worth, but ruger did my father right by repairing the pistol.
