OR , you can do what I did. When the 300 WSM first came out, there was no manual that had ANY loading info in it. The only sources for it came from the bullet/powder companies that had done some prelininary work-ups for it. One was Hornady, the other was Accurate arms powder companies. In both cases, an e-mail to them resulted in snail mail copies of hadwritten notes from both companies. If I had waited, Hornady just came OUt with data in their latest manual for the 300 WSM, I would have waited for 4YEARS!

Therefore, I would recomend you write to Hornady and ask for whatever they have for the .480 Ruger. if THEY HAVE SOME INFO, THEY WILL SEND IT TO YOU!
