I'm enjoying my "AR15 style" rifle. I agree about the 30 round mags. I bought 2 of the 30 rounders to get started. They are cheap and common. I've only been loading them to half capacity. I plan to get some 10 and 20 round mags and I expect that once I do, they'll get all of my attention rather than the 30's. This is my 1st of this style rifle. Like you, I didn't have much interest for the longest time. Then, I got to thinking that putting one together would be an interesting experience. The idea grew on me like mold on bread and now I have one and I don't have any regrets so far.
