The N PAPS are set up for optic mounts, which means the stock angle is higher, which means if you plan to use only iron sights you have to scrunch down to line them up.
That results in the wood riding higher up on the cheek.
In my case, and with many others, that puts the stock right against the cheekbone & despite the low recoil, it is somewhat uncomfortable to shoot.
I had a visible bruise the next day after the first one I worked with, using irons.
The stock also doesn't attach normally, not a simple matter to replace if you want to.
