Your rifle is functioning fine. The brass is hitting the case deflector on the receiver.
If your other rifle does not do that, you may want to see where your brass is flying. A properly functioning rifle should throw the brass about 3-4 o-clock. 1 or 2 o-clock is over gassed or too light a recoil spring or buffer.
