Fore end spacers and the black tip are glued on and nearly impossible to remove except by sawing them off. Buttplate spacers are held on by the buttplate. Easiest way is to paint them black with a small brush (your magic marker will rub off). On the front, you can cut whole front off and replace with a rosewood tip. Problem with older Remington stocks is that they have heavy plastic finish that when disturbed starts to peel, so take care unless you want to refinish the whole stock.
