Well all of my shorthairs will track blood
it is bred into them.
Years ago I had a hunting pit bull, got him from NC farm. He would sneak right up on a deer, I would make a noise, deer jumps up gets shot, pit grabs deer no tracking needed
on blood shorthairs will bay when they come to the end of the trail too.
