Today I picked up an Austrian, Steyr Carbine,
Model 1895, Caliber 8X50R. It has a straight pull bolt action.
This is a wall hanger but if anyone has any info I would appreciate it. I "think" I have the locking system figured out.. I think the front bolt lugs rotate 90 degrees when the bolt's in battery.
Anybody know where I might find some old ammo for this thing.. not for shooting but would like to ses it.
