+P pressure is a little bit higher than the standard pressure. +P+ is a lot higher and doesn't have an industry standard and a lot harder on guns. normally this is a police only load and the departments have to sign a waiver. once in a while you will find some at a gun show. I would make sure the manufacturer of you gun approves of +P. I wouldn't use +P+ at all
