Is this based on any wide-spread testing by a responsible agency, or is this an extrapolation from one guy on the Internet? I know the owner of the range where M1911.ORG conducts some of their testing, and I have seen the steel version of the Fatboy that they tested. There were no problems with reliability. Shooters Arms Manufacturing is one of the oldest of the Philippine 1911 makers. They've been at it for a long time and they pretty much know how to make a 1911 run.

It's interesting that they now have actual grip panels. The steel version didn't, and I didn't care for that.
