My oldest Mossberg is about 25 years old now. I shot abot 100 rounds through it on Tuesday (and about 400 other rounds
).
I've never had or seen a problem with the Mossberg safety with one exception. I saw a screwed up safety after a guy tried to put a folding stock on one. The bolt supplied with the stock was too long and it chinga'ed the inside part of the safety.
Anyway, the best shotgun is whatever you have. Training is the key and is frankly FAR more important than the type of gun.
I've seen some of you counterstrike ninja's at the range. Even though you have expensive guns, you still don't know sh%@%$ about shooting.
