Buy the Beretta. The 20 gauge with 3" chambers and magnum shells will do just fine on ducks and even geese unless the distances are outrageous. A 20 gauge slug will do well on deer as well.
There is nothing wrong with the BPS except that the loading procedures for any bottom loading/ejecting pump gun is not as convenient and a pump gun in general makes skeet shooting a little tougher.
You want a gun today for small game, upland hunting and skeet. The Beretta is close to perfect. The BPS not so much.
