Well, being a Savage fan...
You could get a spin-on barrel in 6.5 x 55 (I know Criterion makes them, I'm sure others do as well).
Either find a suitable used Savage in a LA and swap the barrel, or get an action and aftermarket stock.
You'll end up spending less than a new factory, and with a CBI barrel- better accuracy than any other factory offering. JMO...
