mnw45:
I have never shot Nosler's 185 grain .45 caliber bullets; however, I have shot Hornady's 200 grain XTP through my Smith & Wesson 625 in the hunting field. I was hunting boar with dogs, so my shot was point blank. The bullet entered in front of the right shoulder and traveled diagonally about twelve inched. It lodged under the skin on the opposite side between the jaw bone and the ear. The boar never moved.
