On second thought, if your firm objective is to own a rifle in this chambering, but perhaps don't already have a heap, my advice is to order a case(s) of ammo before even buying the rifle.

Based on info at "Gunbot", some prices for Russian ammo today are similar to what they were in Sept/October '08. Many of us will never need to 'sweat' the next sudden panic.
