ive heard bad things about the 50s yugo ammo, but the romanian and turk ammo looks alright and is still pretty cheap. Does anybody know what works best in this type of mauser?
Ive personally never experienced any problems with the 50's Yugo and Ive shot hundreds of rounds of it.Some of it does have hard primers and will require a second strike to get it to go off if your rifle has a worn spring.I have some Romanian ammo but havent fired any of it yet and the Turk ammo is good but is loaded pretty hot so itll definitely give your shoulder a work out.Your rifle will digest any 8mm you decide to get so just shop around and see what the best deal is on surplus right now.The Romanian seems to be a pretty good deal and I think AIM still has 1 cent shipping on it.
