Would you happen to have disassembly and reassembly instructions for the Winchester Model 290? My friend had one in his basement and it is pretty badly rusted but the wood is gorgeous and has basketweave type checkering. I can't figure out how to get the fore-end off and I can't get the magazine tube out. I think it is held tight by rust. I would normally say just pitch it but the wood is so beautiful, it is worth at least trying to save. My e-mail address is:
