Thanks much for this reply, and the other re: Avenger. Both are amazingly helpful. The Astra article includes a picture displaying several different handloads, a factory .38 super, and a factory 9mm. His handloading specs note a target length of 1.16, and the picture notes that the "R-P factory 130-grain FMJ round is too long for the 600's 9mm magazine." If I understand you correctly, I can likely find .38 super factory ammo with non-round-nosed bullets that will fit the Astra magazine, which is excellent news. I greatly appreciate your time!
