I have the p229, the p239's bigger brother. It was the first handgun I ever purchased. I do not carry it anymore. I find the slide is bulky and is not therefore very comfortable for IWB carry.

I have a compact USP in 9mm. My wife carries it. She loves it. (these can be found used in 9mm or 40, and cheaper than the p2000. nearly the same gun.)

I personally carry a springfield xdm 3.8 in 45 acp.
