Did you say "Air Rifle" or mean a .22 rimfire trainer?
I've never heard of a .22 air rifle conversion before, but it is an Enfield so I never say never!
Pictures would be a huge help here as I can't even figure out HOW you'd do the conversion.

I'm not sure what the problem is with pellets either, what's special about these that it cant use regular old airgun pellets?
