The U.S. House passed the 'Concealed Carry Reciprocity Act' around 12/6/2017. It still has to pass the U.S. Senate.

I think it's interesting to see how National Public Radio reported this.

I'm not claiming media bias this time, I'm just a bit confused. Doesn't a concealed carry permit holder ALREADY have the right to carry into another state where it is also legal? I see reciprocity maps already that show which states honor other states permits.

I'm thinking the bold text above demonstrates NPR just doesn't understand the issue or perhaps I don't. And I'm not being facetious here, I really might not understand this issue.
