I have come to the conclusion that the 22-250 in a heavy barreled varmint rifle is very rifle dependant. A friend gets best result with IMR4895 and a 52Gr BTHP. I get best with H380 and a 55gr BTHP I could go on but I won't. 4895 seems generally to work well in sporter weight guns. Check the burn rate charts and stay in that general area. there just isn't any sure way to tell what will work best for you.

BTW winchester brass doesn't work as well for me as remington brass and I don't know why, but it does.
