With out more information, no. Western Field was a store brand for Montgomery Ward department stores. Ward would contract with various markers to sell their firearms under Wards store brand of Western Field. Your shotgun could have been made by a number of different manufactures. By break down , do you mean " break open " as in the barrel is hinged and is opened to load and unload? Is the shotgun single barrel or double? If the gun has no other identification on it then perhaps a picture could help identify the maker. As for as the caliber, I'm fairly sure any shotgun sold by Wards would have the caliber stamped on the barrel, if not that is truly surprising and must be a very old shotgun.
