I love vintage 22s.
My first rifle was a Marlin 60 one of the ones with the squirrels on it. That gun was awesome I used to shoot prairie dog and rabbits way out in the fields. I hardly ever cleaned it when I did I wondered why it even still shot. and with out jamming.
