A glock's weight is basically all in the slide, so it soaks up recoil fairly well....I also like the H&K P-7 - very easy to shoot and very accurate......
You might also want to consider a 9mm that has a .22 conversion kit - there are several brands that do - to add even less recoil on a regular basis
