I agree with the firm challenge. And depending on the size of the elevator compartment, you might be better off punt kicking (technical term) the little scumbag before going for your carry gun.
They have to be nuts also, an elevator is a pretty horrible place for a robbery.
Also stuck in the close confines of an elevator, if they have a knife instead of a gun, you can be just as screwed if not more so.
