Was this in response to my comment about blacking out the
rear sights on my Glocks?
I still have a front dot, which is now faster to acquire (no white static), and which still frames perfectly in the rear notch. I still use the sights. There are actually companies that sell all black rear sights (Dawson Precision, for example). I find that this works better, for me. No loss of accuracy, faster sight picture acquisition, and easier tracking of the front sight during shooting.
