Shouldn't be any issues with a quality 30-round magazine. If you buy a bunch of worn out GI junk then maybe, but not new magazines. Magpul just came out with their Gen 3 Pmags. The improvements to the M3 mags can be found on their site

If you want something a little less expensive they sell a teflon finish, GI style magazine with a Magpul follower. I've heard of many people having great success with these mags.
